About this event

Join friends for a Shenandoah National Park day walk.
Van leaves from the Rapp at Home office at 9:30am.
We’ll start the walk at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center parking at Mile 5.1.
Option 1: Snead Farm Road out and back, 1.4 miles of easy walk
Remains of Snead Farm with a root cellar and barn
Option 2: Snead Farm Road to Snead Farm Loop Trail, then on to Dickey Ridge Trail, 3.2 miles of loop.
This loop has about 500 feet of elevation difference, up and down Dickey Hill.
**This is NOT a hike on the entire Dickey Ridge Trail.
We’ll meet back at the visitor center and drive to Front Royal.
How about a hamburger lunch at Spelunkers? The group can decide where to lunch.
