Most of our larger local grocers accept online orders and payment, with curbside pick-up. 

If you are unable to pick up your order, Rapp at Home will try to arrange for a volunteer to help you.  The volunteer will call you to arrange and confirm details before making the pickup and delivery.  They will call you to let you know when they will arrive and they will leave your order at your doorstep.  There need be no personal contact between you and the volunteer.

The procedures for each store differ somewhat.  Information regarding the stores  is available here.  However, please contact the store directly for additional or updated information as it will likely change frequently. Also, if you have any questions about how to order, please call the store.

If you don’t have a computer, you can ask a friend or family member to enter your order online. If this is not possible, call the Rapp at Home office and we’ll help you place your order.


A few of our local Rappahannock stores and restaurants allow for orders by phone and offer prepared meals.

Many of the large grocery stores also have a pharmacy. Most require you to call their pharmacy directly for prescriptions. Some allow curbside pickup of prescriptions, but many do not. Some also allow for mailing of certain prescriptions.  See Filling Prescriptions for more information about filling prescriptions.

Please note that you may need to order 3 – 5 days in advance for pick-up. And at Rapp at Home we will need that time to arrange for a volunteer pick-up person, so give us a call right after you place your order at 540-937-4663.
